10. Third-party services
NEXUS relies on third-party infrastructure providers for hosting, authentication, database storage and AI processing. Their availability and behaviour are outside NEXUS’s full control. NEXUS is not responsible for third-party outages, data handling practices or terms, and links to third-party sites are provided for convenience, not endorsement.
11. Availability and changes
NEXUS is provided on an as-is and as-available basis during public beta. Features may change, be limited or be withdrawn. We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NEXUS disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness and uninterrupted availability.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NEXUS and its founder, administrators and contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost funding, lost opportunity, business interruption or loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the platform, even if advised of the possibility. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold NEXUS harmless from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from content you submit, your use of the platform, or your breach of these terms or of any third party’s rights.
15. Termination
You may stop using the platform at any time and may request deletion of your account. NEXUS may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. Provisions that by nature should survive, including sections 3, 12, 13 and 14, survive termination.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules, unless a mandatory consumer protection rule in your jurisdiction provides otherwise. Courts located in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any non-waivable right to bring or defend proceedings in your country of residence.
17. Contact
Questions about these terms can be directed to the platform founder, Shuaizheng Meng. Public contact details are published on the Founder page.
Important notice about legal review. These terms are a plain-language platform document. They have not been drafted or reviewed by a licensed attorney, and nothing here should be read as a representation of legal compliance with any specific law or regulation — including securities, investment-adviser, anti-money-laundering, export-control, sanctions, consumer-protection, privacy or sector-specific rules. This document is not legal advice. Independent legal review is recommended before launch, and is strongly recommended before any transaction, investment or cross-border arrangement is made through introductions originating on this platform.
